FIASCO: ¿Una base de datos?

Si,  una  base  de  datos.  Pero con tantas nuevas posibilidades que va mas
allá  de  lo  esperado.  En su última versión 2.02 ha mejorado en todos los
aspectos  haciendo  la  creación  de  las  bases muy fácil y siempre con la
apariencia que nosotros queramos.

Algunas de las características añadías en Fiasco son (En Ingles):

·  Dynamic handling of records. Fiasco only reads record data when 
   required. 
·  Support of listview fields, which may contain several entries. 
·  Support of var string fields, which may contain a string of unknown 
   length. 
·  Indices are used for controlling the record order. The sort and filter 
   functions also use indices. Thus, indices can do automatic sorting or 
   filtering of records. 
·  Sort function enhanced.
·  New relation types for use with listview fields 
·  Relations are able to access other databases in RAM. 
·  Multiple fields may be selected in the mask mode. 
·  Fields may be grouped in the mask. If you select one grouped field, 
   the whole group will be selected. Furthermore, some field types will 
   share their display with each other. 
·  Fields may be hidden in the mask. 
·  Field/Duplicate can be now also used for text, button and bar fields. 
·  Dragging of fields in the mask window can be cancelled using the right 
   mouse button. 
·  Tab cycling is now properly supported for fields. Cycling with Enter 
   may be controlled via the settings. 
·  Fields may be activated using keyboard shortcuts. 
·  Data in string, integer, float, time and date fields may be left 
   aligned, centered or right aligned. 
·  Pictures in datatypes fields may be scaled, text may be word wrapped. 
·  The contents of a datatypes field may be centered. 
·  Proportional gadgets may be rendered in a new-look. 
·  Implemented Project/Open new. 
·  Fiasco projects may be hidden. 
·  Fiasco's custom screens are now public screens. 
·  Many parts of the user interface have been revised. 
·  Uses WBPath by Ralph Babel to support path searching while executing 
   programs. 
·  Page stops for printing. 
·  ARexx interface supports FIASCO.LASTERROR variable for more
   information about errors of Fiasco commands.
·  New file format.
·  F_GetFieldCont and F_SetFieldCont can choose the database to be 
   accessed. 
·  F_OpenProject can load the database into a new window, which may be 
   also iconified.


Además tiene un gran soporte de campos:
Cadena, entero, decimal, boolenano, cíclico, deslizador, fecha, hora, texto
, externo, datatypes, Var cadena, botón y barra.

Incorpora también un puerto ARexx, dos modos de visualización de registros,
esta  traducido al Castellano (por mí:), y cuenta con un buen manual por el
momento en Inglés (voluntarios a traducirlo!).

Me  informa  su  autor que la versión 2.1 esta a punto de aparecer.  Espero
que se registre alguien más pues es un buen programa.
